I was an art major during my early college career studying studio art at Monroe Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology. I've had a life-long commitment to continuing education in the arts and enjoyed the rich arts community in Burlington, Vermont as a student at the University of Vermont, Burlington City Arts, and the Shelburne Craft School.  

In 2018 I moved to the beautiful Finger Lakes in upstate New York. My latest work is inspired by rediscovering the places and people of my hometown. I now exhibit regularly through the Ontario County Arts Council and local art fairs in the Rochester, NY area.

My work covers a wide range of people, places and things. Some common design elements are saturated colors, high contrast and a sense of balance in the composition. I try to have my paintings tell a story that preserves a sense of place or a fond memory. I still prefer traditional oil painting, and my recent work is in that medium. 

In recent years, I've had more time to devote to creating and selling my art, after over 25 years of experience in communications, branding and digital marketing both as an independent consultant and a senior level marketing manager.
